One of my favorite writers on Environmental Justice, Brentin Mock, wrote a very thoughtful article on EJ’s effectiveness for Grist about a week ago, and highlighted EPA’s efforts to improve it through the draft EJ 2020 Action Agenda.
The EPA is giving community groups an excellent opportunity to have input into the plan. They are hosting webinars about it on May 7 and 14, You can sign up for one on this Eventbrite page.

I was pleased to see that Brentin wrote about a book chapter written by a University of Kansas professor who helped the KC Diesel Health Project develop an EJ grant proposal for the EPA.
