Environmental Justice groups win. Outlaw polluting Exide battery plant to be shut down!

MFN member East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice (EYCEJ) and their allies have won a major victory – closure of a heavily polluting battery recycling plant after a battle lasting ten years.  EYCEJ director Mark Lopez has called for a criminal investigation.
