Private port to be built on Delaware River in South NJ

The purchase of the former DuPont Repauno plant and Superfund site on the Delaware River in Gloucester County, New Jersey by Fortress Investment Group was announced yesterday.  Fortress, which operates a freight rail line in Florida and dock facilities in Texas, has not announced how the port will be used, but said one possibility is warehousing and import/export of automobiles.
