Freight transportation, diesel exhaust air pollution, health, and environmental justice issues raised in LA highway battle

Andrea Hricko, USC Professor of Clinical Preventive Medicine and Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for the Southern California Environmental Health Sciences Center is deeply involved in the public discussion about the State Route 710 North project, which is proposed to run over seven miles from East L.A. to Pasadena, bisecting neighborhoods in its wake.
